Living outside of Florida but need a license or job here? We make the process simple. Just mail us your completed FD-258 fingerprint cards, and we’ll scan and submit them electronically to FDLE. Your results go directly to the Florida agency that requires them — no need to travel here in person.

Already have paper fingerprint cards? We can convert them into secure .EFT digital files accepted for NFA firearms, FFL applications, and other federal processes.

How It Works

Getting fingerprinted doesn’t have to be stressful. Our process is simple, fast, and designed to keep you moving. Here’s what to expect when you schedule with Fingerprinting Jacksonville:

1)

Book an Appointment

Get Prepared

All you need is a valid photo ID and your ORI number. Check our ORI page for a list of commonly used ORI numbers.

Individuals needing their background check sent to the Florida Clearinghouse must first register in CHAI. 

3)

Get Fingerprinted

We will prepare the records and get your fingerprints taken and take a photo depending on what you are being fingerprinted for.

 

Your records will be submitted once payment is made and you will be issued a Transaction Control Number.

4)

Wait for Results

We submit your fingerprints electronically to The Florida Department of Law Enforcement for processing the same day. Results will reach the requesting employer or agency within 5 business days.
